Hunan University of Commerce, a provincial full-time university featured by economics and management, covers economics, management, law, literature, science, engineering, arts and other disciplines. It is an excellent undergraduate teaching university evaluated by the Ministry of Education. 1.       Targeted talents

1)      Distinguished professors approved by “Changjiang Scholars Program”, winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, or members of “Thousand Talents Program”;

2)      Professors with long-term teaching or persons undertaking equivalent official duties, working in universities or research institutes at home and abroad;

3)      Associate professors with a doctorate degree or equivalent official duties, younger than 45 years old, working in universities or research institutes at home and abroad;

4)      Outstanding doctors with certain academic achievements, younger than 40 years old.

5)     Among above conditions, restrictions regarding such majors as arts, foreign languages and sports can be relaxed to the outstanding graduates obtaining Master Degree from “985” or “211” university, and younger than 35 years.

2.        Specific positions and requirements

See “2015 annual teacher introduction plan of Hunan University of Commerce” (Annex I). Such talents in urgent need as distinguished professors approved by “Changjiang Scholars Program”, winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, or members of “Thousand Talents Program” are not subject to restrictions of the Plan.

3.        Employment ways and benefits

There are two ways as annual salary system and non-annual salary system. Those in line with criteria of talents identified by us can enjoy the following benefits:

1)      Annual salary system

Those introduced with the annual salary system will sign the employment contract with the university and enjoy personnel agency. During the contract period, they should work in full time in the university and then get paid with salary agreed in the contract after completion of duties. When contract expires, the university can continue to employ or dismiss the employed according the agreed terms. Duration of employment could be five or three years. The benefits enjoyed are listed as follows:

  Annual salary

One million RMB (pre-tax) for distinguished professors approved by “Changjiang Scholars Program”, winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, or members of “Thousand Talents Program”

0.3-.08 million RMB (pre-tax) for professor, 0.15-0.3 million RMB (pre-tax) for associate professor, 0.1-0.2 million RMB (pre-tax) for professionals with the doctoral degree respectively in terms of the academic achievements.

  Scientific research and international exchange fees

For those who sign five-year duration of employment contract, the university will provide fund for them to start research, namely, 80,000 RMB for professors, 60,000 RMB for associate professor, 40,000 RMB for professionals with the doctoral degree respectively; Meanwhile, additional 50,000 RMB for travelling expenses in international cooperation and exchange. All the expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the university. For those who sign three-year duration of employment contract, the university will pay 3/5 of the amount for those who sign five-year duration of employment contract.

  Welfares. The university will provide 20,000 RMB per year for rental allowance and one-off moving expenses 10,000 RMB. Those who join the university’s labor union can enjoy union membership benefits.

   Working conditions: the university will provide appropriate working conditions.

   Stipulations of specific introduction benefit terms refer to the introduction contract.

2)  Non-annual salary system

Those introduced with the non-annual salary system will go through transferring procedures, and sign employment contract with the university and corresponding secondary colleges or units. They should perform corresponding duties according to the job requirements, and enjoy the following benefits:

· Fund for starting research. 80,000 RMB for professors, 60,000 RMB for associate professor, 40,000 RMB for professionals with the doctoral degree respectively. All the expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the university.

·Settling-in allowance and housing subsidy. The university will provide 150,000 RMB for professors, 100,000 RMB for associate professors, and 80,000 RMB for professional with the doctoral degree. And one-off moving expenses 10,000 RMB.

·Those professionals with academic title professor and with the doctoral degree can enjoy an additional introduction fee of 50,000 RMB in addition to the basic introduction benefits for professor.

·Urgently wanted disciplines and majors provide a special fee of 30,000 RMB.

3)Benefits for team introduction are based on the above-mentioned salary conditions and will be determined in an appraisal way.

4.       Application Method

Applicants could log in the official website of Hunan University of Commerce, and deliver the resume online (online resume entrance). Fill in the actual situations and upload “Registration Form of Teaching and Research Applicants in Public Recruitment of Hunan University of Commerce”.

Meanwhile, send scanned copies of “Registration Form of Teaching and Research Applicants in Public Recruitment of Hunan University of Commerce”, ID card, academic degree certificate (starting from the first-record of college education), title certificate, achievements in scientific research, awards, graduate employment recommendation form and other materials to e-mails of the colleges that you want to apply. Real and effective materials are required; otherwise, qualifications shall be cancelled.

5.        Recruitment Methods

General recruitment of teachers will be assessed by trial lecture and interviews according to “2015 Public Recruitment Program of Hunan University of Commerce” (see annex II) approved by Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Hunan Province. In the form of giving lessons, TRIAL lecture is aimed to assess the lecturer’s teaching level and teaching ability. In a structured approach, the interview is intended to evaluate the interviewee’s appearance, language expression, analytical ability and the degree of adaptation to the position, etc. Overall scores will be calculated with percentile, and trial lecture and interview respectively occupies 50%. The passing point is set at 75 points, and those who will be disqualified with scores lower than 75 points. Exam results will be available in the Website of Hunan University of Commerce.
