[People.cn] Hunan elements appeared in national urban management competition, and participating projects faced social hot pots

News from People.cn on Oct. 18 of Changsha        Recently, the final match of the 3rd National University Student Urban Management Competition was held at Capital University of Economics and Trade. Six teams of HNUC reached the final, and won two first prizes and four second prizes, and the total score ranked top among the participating colleges and universities.

Urban Management is designed to meet the needs of urbanization and modernization of urban management. It focuses on cultivating professionals with basic theory and operational skills of urban management. The "National University Student Urban Management Competition" is an important national discipline competition in this field, aiming at examining the students' ability to solve practical problems by applying relevant theories.

301 undergraduate works from 66 colleges and universities participate in the competition, including Peking University, Renmin University of China, Zhejiang University, Macao University of Science and Technology and Taiwan Ming Chuan University. In the final match, Liuyang City Homestead reform group made a stage pose with a song of Liuyang River companied by dances, and the cultural heritage team of Fenghuang Ancient City wore ethnic minority costumes, becoming a highlight of the competition area, and leaving a good impression on everyone.

The reform project of "separating three kinds of rights" of HNUC has carried out a practical investigation on the exploration process and implementation status of the reform of house site ownership, qualification rights and use rights in Liuyang City, and put forward some policy suggestions such as integrating urban and rural land markets and building a platform for the transfer of home site use rights, etc.

The cultural heritage and protection project of Fenghuang Ancient City aims at the practical problems such as the gradual disappearance of the original ecological environment of the Fenghuang Ancient City and the difficulty of inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage such as Miao silver, etc. It puts forward the phoenix-shaped model of "phoenix head" for "sixteen-character" policy of cultural protection, "phoenix wings" for overall protection & development and innovation, and "phoenix tail" for government policy. These two projects were favored by the judges for their strong pertinence and operability, stood out among many projects and won the first prize of the competition, respectively. (Liu Juan)
