  News from www.cnr.cn on Nov. 9 of Shanghai (journalist: Fu Weijie) In this morning, the award ceremony of 2018 Fudan Premium Fund for Management was grandly held in Shanghai. Su Dongshui, Chief Professor of Fudan University and Honorary President of Institute of Oriental Management, Fudan University, was awarded with "Fudan Lifetime Achievement Award of Management". Chen Xiaohong, President of HNUC, Professor and Honorary President of Central South University Business School and Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Ding Lieyun, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Hua Zhongsheng, Professor of School of Management Zhejiang University, Distinguished Professor of the Changjiang Scholars Program of Ministry of Education were awarded with "Fudan Outstanding Contribution Award of Management". Dong Mingzhu, Chairman & CEO of Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliances Co., Ltd., was awarded with "Fudan Outstanding Contribution Award of Business Management".

      Professor Su Dongshui took the lead in integrating eastern and western management theories, establishing the Oriental Management School, pioneering the management theory with Chinese characteristics, and constructing the theoretical system of management psychology based on "human-based learning". He took the lead in studying the national economic management and establishing a theoretical system of regional economic development in China's coastal areas, including the "Quanzhou Model". He developed the management theory of Chinese township enterprises and industrial enterprises, summarized and condensed the new ideas of Chinese business management, and made an important contribution to guiding the practice of Chinese enterprises. During his 60-year teaching career, Su Dongshui has cultivated more than 100 doctors and postdoctoral students. He has been praised by the State Council as "an expert with outstanding contributions to the higher education development in China". In the vast management research, he started a school and taught tirelessly. By constructing the theoretical system of Oriental management, the wisdom of Oriental cultural thoughts is projected into the practice of nowadays society to make the Chinese management research step onto the broad stage of world scientific research, caring for individuals with human-based learning, and benefiting society by realistic strategy.

      The "Fudan Outstanding Contribution Award of Management" in this year has been awarded in the Management Science and Engineering field. Three winners have made extraordinary efforts in this field, achieved remarkable achievements and made outstanding contributions to Chinese management development.

      Professor Chen Xiaohong has made important achievements in the fields of information decision theory and support system, as well as the fine management of resource and environment. She put forward the "four-dimensional fine control" decision theory, constructed the conceptual model and development method of group intelligent decision support system under the Internet environment, and took the lead in developing Smart Decision, the first decision application software development platform with independent intellectual property rights, which greatly improved the scientific management decision and technical level. She also proposed and pioneered the standard system of "two-oriented society" construction and the new model of green engineering management, which provided strong guidance for regional development and system construction. She has developed a digital quantitative analysis technology for fine management of resource and environment, as well as pollution control, which has been successfully applied to the construction of green mining enterprises, energy conservation and emission reduction, and environmental governance of regional basin, producing tremendous economic, social and ecological benefits and making outstanding contributions to the reform and construction of China's two-oriented society and ecological civilization.

      Professor Ding Lieyun is mainly engaged in the research on the digital construction and engineering safety management. Aiming at the difficult problem of "awareness, alarm and control" of safety risk in metro engineering construction, he revealed the "energy-coupling" law of safety risk in the metro engineering construction system, proposed the "dynamic isolation" control method of energy, established the technical system of "awareness, alarm and control" of safety risk and the integrated management mode of safety risk, and realized the physical, logical and personal integration of safety management in the metro engineering construction. For the neglect of process monitoring, lack of behavior control and difficulty in determining responsibility in the construction quality management, a POP fine control model for construction engineering quality and a full-life cycle quality supervision system are established to realize cross-stage and cross-departmental integrated management of engineering quality supervision information. The research has made important contributions to enhance the status of China in the international construction safety. The research achievements are widely used in safety risk control and construction quality management in the metro engineering construction, which strongly supports the construction of major engineering.

      Professor Hua Zhongsheng is mainly engaged in the research on the service science and operation management. In terms of service science, he found the behavior rules of service participants, such as participation of customers in online brand community of enterprises, trust transfer of e-commerce platform, social media addiction and retailer's advantages, etc.; and he proposed a series of new methods for organizing and coordinating service resources, including the platform-based service capacity building and the optimal strategy for the comprehensive utilization of multi-source heterogeneous service resources, and constructed a new mechanism for multi-source heterogeneous data resource integration, as well as new prediction and decision methods based on this. In terms of operation management, Professor Hua found the influence of internal system decision and action on the non-stationary demand, and proposed density prediction method for non-stationary demand and flexible structural design method for system adapting to non-stationary changes in the environment. He is good at extracting and discovering scientific problems in management research from practice. The research achievements have been greatly applied in the General Administration of Customs, Sinopec, State Grid and other units.

      The candidates for the Fudan Outstanding Contribution Award of Business Management are recommended by experts from academic circles, business circles and social organizations. This year, Gree Electrical Appliances led by Ms. Dong Mingzhu, which won this honor, is a global industrial enterprise with diversified business, including household appliances, intelligent equipment, industrial products, precision moulds and so on, and it's also a representative enterprise group of independent innovation in China's manufacturing industry. She proposed the quality management concept of "replacing after-sales service with quality, and the best service is no need of after-sales service". The enterprise policy launched due to full confidence in product quality has become the benchmark of after-sales service in the household appliance industry. Dong Mingzhu has been focusing on air conditioning R&D and manufacturing for many years, has formed a set of independent innovation culture, and accumulated core technology with independent intellectual property rights, making the company be the largest professional air conditioning enterprise in the world, and becoming a successful model for Chinese manufacturing enterprises to develop national brand - "Let the world fall in love with things made in China".

      At the award ceremony, Ding Lieyun and Chen Xiaohong made the keynote speeches titled "Reform in Digital Construction and Building Industry" and "Research on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Era of Digital Economy", respectively.
