To create more jobs for graduates of 2019 from economic and trade majors in Hunan Province and ensure higher quality and more full employment, the Meeting of Supply and Demand of Graduates of 2019 from Economic and Trade Majors of Colleges and Universities in Hunan Province and Large Job Fair of HNUC Graduates of 2019 sponsored by the Education Department of Hunan Province were held in HNUC Gymnasium on Nov. 23. Nearly 400 enterprises and nearly 6,000 students in relevant majors participated in the activity. The proposed number of recruitment was 17,000, and the supply and demand proportion of job-hunting students and posts was nearly 1:3.

The well-known enterprises of offline recruitment accounted for more than one-second.

Nearly 400 employers such as Foton Motor, Sany Heavy Industry, ZOOMLION, CNOOC Group, MIUI Communication and CMBC, etc. participated in this job fair, including 240 offline recruiters, 160 online recruiters, which provides nearly 1,600 posts, and the proposed number of recruitment was 17,041.

Over 120 offline recruiters in this job fair are the top 500 enterprises or listed companies, and the enterprise quality has been greatly improved. The professional needs of the recruitment cover all economic and trade majors, and the matching degree between posts and majors is high. Among them, the demand of marketing, finance, foreign trade, financial accounting, computer software and other professional posts is relatively high.

Exploring and solving the "two-difficult" contradiction

The enterprises can't recruit satisfactory talents and the students can't find satisfactory jobs, resulting in the agonizing "two-difficult" contradiction of the "difficult" recruitment of enterprises and the "difficult" employment of college students.

Cao Dong, director of Employment Guidance Center of HNUC Recruitment and Employment Office, said that the settlement method of the "two-difficult" contradiction at present is generally "providing the fish", that is introducing posts in the campus. "What the shortage of the current post-95 college students is not employment posts, but the understanding of their professional orientation and employment ability to reach their target posts." said Cao Dong, "that is, the first thing we need to do for them is to let each of them know what job they want, and then to empower them to be competent for their target posts."

HNUC and XiangJiang New Area jointly found the Collage of Entrepreneurship and Employment, to "provide the fish" and "teach them to fish", empowering the college students comprehensively. Nearly 100 students were selected through the combination of "two-way selection of enterprise and students + scientific allocation of posts and majors" in this summer vacation. Training in the form of visiting in enterprises, master-apprentice guidance, occupational assessment and internship recruitment, 15 landmark buildings and key enterprises in the New Area such as Planning Archives Center, Yanghu Wetland Park and Hunan Financial Center, etc. in XiangJiang New Area will open the door to the students of "XiangJiang Phase I". Hoping that through various training methods, college students will be able to find the ideal jobs or entrepreneurial opportunities in the New Area at the time of graduation, and the enterprises can recruit suitable talents in the graduates of colleges and universities nearby.

The employment is continued, and the colleges and universities create a new employment situation

HNUC has always attached great importance to the employment of university students. Through the form of innovation, employment and entrepreneurship, the university has continuously created a new employment and entrepreneurship situation. In recent years, it has made a lot of achievements in the employment and entrepreneurship work: The annual employment rate of the university has been stable at more than 90%, which is one of the top 50 colleges and universities with typical innovation and entrepreneurship experience in China, and has been awarded as an excellent demonstration university of the top leadership project in employment and entrepreneurship in Hunan Province.

Since Sep. this year, the university has held 226 special job fairs for graduates of 2019, with a total of 226 enterprises providing 18,752 posts, 12 medium job fairs, with a total of 359 enterprises providing 20,566 posts and 1,191 online recruiters providing 151,722 posts.   Up to now, the ratio of the number of graduates of 2019 to the number of posts is 1:35, which fully guarantees the full employment of graduates of 2019.
