Special Recruitment with Top 500 Companies Attracting Thousands of Graduates to Be Employed

In order to ensure the high-quality and full employment of graduates of the year 2018, Recruitment and Employment Guidance Office tried its best to invite top 500 companies of the world and top 500 companies of China to participate in “Special Recruitment with Top 500 Companies for Graduates of the Year 2018” held by our university on the afternoon of November 14. More than 37 companies among top 500 companies like Minmetals Group, Jingdong Group, Zoomlion and Sany Group, participated in the recruitment fair. The companies, jobs and wages were great in the recruitment fair which provided more than 1,500 employment positions covering the majors of accounting, marketing, business administration and so on. There were over one  thousand of graduates participating in the recruitment fair; even some graduates from other universities were also attracted by the fair and many non-fresh graduates came to the fair for consultation.

The recruitment scene was very crowded; there were many graduates queuing up in front of many recruitment companies; the graduates held their own carefully prepared resumes with full confidence, actively communicated with the recruiters and actively knew of the situation of the employing units. The companies participating in the recruitment fair showed that the quality of the graduates in our university was very high; the effect of this recruitment was good according to the received resumes; they looked forward to continuing cooperation. At the same time, the reporter knew from the scene that the recruiters happened to have the same view that the candidates should be able to bear hardships, have responsibility, solid foundation knowledge, good work ability and sufficient social practice, which requires our graduates to not only have solid theoretical knowledge, but also have good comprehensive qualities in present severe employment situation so as to adapt to the future jobs better.

Our university has attached great importance to the recruitment fair; Zeng Fuqiu, the vice president, went to the recruitment fair to communicate with the employing companies cordially, knew of companies’ talent demand plans as well as the opinions and suggestions on the talent cultivation and employment of our university. In the scene of the recruitment fair, the college graduates were also actively encouraged to participate in the recruitment fair by the employment directors from various schools of our university; in the face of employment competition, graduates should be fully prepared, proactive and brave to accept the challenges of employing units; besides, these employment directors wished the graduates to find satisfactory jobs.

  

At present, in the peak period of recruitment of various companies, the graduates should adjust the mentality, seize the opportunity, take the initiative, pay attention to the recruitment information from the school employment information network and our WeChat official account, and actively participate in the various kinds of recruitment activities organized by our university. Our university will also hold the supply and demand meeting of graduates of the year 2018 of economic and trade class in Hunan Province and the large recruitment fair of the graduates of the year 2018 of Hunan University of Commerce on November 24; there will be more than 200 well-known enterprises from all over the country attending the fair.
