Introduction of the speaker: Zhao Shuming is the honorary dean of Business School of Nanjing University, specially-appointed professor, doctoral supervisor, leader of national key disciplines and academies in enterprise management, enjoys the special government allowance, and was selected to "BaiQianWan Talents Program" (level 1 and level 2), MOE "Cross-century Talents Training Plan", chief scientist of "333 program" in Jiangsu, "Jiangsu provincial social scientist". Professor Zhao Shuming is the member of MOE Science and Technology Committee and Review Committee of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and acts as the chairman of Asia-Pacific Human Resource Research Association, member of Governmental Human Resource Development Committee of MCSAR, chairman of Jiangsu Human Resource Association, academic councilor of Jiangsu Association of Enterprise Management and CEN International Education Network, and the deputy chairman of China Enterprise Confederation. He was rated as HR Person of the Year of Wealth China in 2002; In May 2006, he was granted with "Human Science -- Honorary doctorate degree of Business Administration" by Seton Hill University, and he is the first person in Asia who was granted with the degree. He won more than ten teaching and research awards issued by the State Council, the Ministry of Education, Jiangsu Provincial Government and Nanjing University. He was the part-time professor of eight business schools such as University of Hawaii, University of Toronto, Missouri State University, etc. Now, he is the part-time professor of University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and acts as the independent director of three large-scale companies such as MFC Bancorp Ltd, Jiangsu SOHO International Group Corp., etc. He successively led 18 national-level scientific research projects covering major, critical and above projects initiated by NSFC, published more than 20 works including Research on Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management of Multinationals, Human Resource Strategy Management of Chinese Enterprises, etc. and published over 180 independent or cooperative research papers, and acted as the editor of International Journal of Cross-cultural Management and editorial board member of Advances in Competitiveness Research and Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources.
